The reason the original sin has been inherited throughout the generations, and the reason we, in what the Bible calls the Last Days, are witnessing wide-scale immorality and family breakdown, is all due to this. What God dislikes the most is when a person goes against the law of love and becomes immoral. My question to you is: Who has a solution to the problems of youth, family breakdown and teenage pregnancy that are so prevalent in both the East and the West?
These phenomena are more fearful than starvation, war or any disease. Why is that? We need to be two people who are at peace. Mind and body are also like two people. A husband and wife are two people. Two parents, two children; two people, two more people; then four people have to become parallel, and they will be a heavenly family, a parallel family with parents at the center. So, what do we have to do? All of humanity should unite, but we need a focal point for unity. Women are not born just to help or to be protected by men; rather, we are interdependent individuals who, as the representative of the other half of God's nature, are meant to make men more complete and manly. According to the teachings of my husband, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, God is the origin of true love. The very act of creation was prompted by God's original nature, stemming from true love. God's true love needs an object partner to love and care for in a reciprocal relationship. God's motive of creation was true love.
The creation, therefore, is God's object partner of love in physical form. Among all of creation, however, man and woman are the closest object partners of God's love. God is the True Parent of humanity, and all men and women were created as His sons and daughters. God and humankind are True Parent and children.
… Human beings were created to develop and embody God's true love, step by step, during their growth period through their life experiences. In other words, people perfect their character as they experience, through this process of stages, the heart of a child, the heart of a brother or sister, the heart of a husband or wife, and the heart of a parent. People's character and happiness are determined by how rounded, how versatile and developed their love becomes as a result of experiencing these stages of life. To achieve the perfected ideal, their love must come to have the same qualities of maturity, unselfishness and total investment that characterize God's own love.

From the Bible we know that the ancestors of humankind did not have a marriage blessed by God, nor did they bear God's loving sons and daughters. Adam and Eve committed sin against their original parent and were kicked out of the garden of Eden. Outside the garden they had children that have multiplied through the generations. Because Adam and Eve became neither the true husband and wife nor the true parents that God desired, we as their descendants were not born in the lineage of true parents, as members of God's true family. The reason people strive for everlasting, unchanging love between a husband and wife, yet can't seem to achieve it, is Adam and Eve's original separation from God, the Fall, which was caused by false love and adultery. The reason the original sin has been inherited throughout the generations, and the reason we, in what the Bible calls the Last Days, are witnessing wide-scale immorality and family breakdown, is all due to this. What God dislikes the most is when a person goes against the law of love and becomes immoral. My question to you is: Who has a solution to the problems of youth, family breakdown and teenage pregnancy that are so prevalent in both the East and the West?
These phenomena are more fearful than starvation, war or any disease. Why is that? These problems are not just our problems today; they are the problems that will destroy humanity's hope for future generations. Today's immorality has direct consequences for our descendants. After the formation of the vertical axis, horizontal expansion can occur. The horizontal can be connected to all directions, although the vertical has only one direction. The world of peace can never come to exist as long as we focus only on receiving love. In the realm of true love, our physical parents are not our only parents, nor are our physical siblings our only brothers and sisters. Even our own biological children are not our only children. Once we become people of true character, we will come to feel that every person is our parent, sibling or child, and we will want to treat them as such. We will not be able to see all the people now wandering in the world of death without tears filling our eyes. With such love, when we see young people thrashing about in a quagmire of drugs and debauchery, we will feel compelled to devote our full heart and soul to saving them, as if they were our own children. God alone cannot untangle the problems wrought by wrongful lineage. If God could have done it, He would have done it long ago. He would not even have allowed the Fall to occur in the first place. However, as the God of Principle, God cannot interfere with the human portion of responsibility. Accordingly, the returning Messiah who comes as the True Parents should. The same principle applies to overcoming the world of evil and uniting the world of goodness. Someone must appear in the world of goodness that is a greater patriot for the world of evil than anyone in that world. A person has to appear and set a higher standard of loyalty to his or her nation than anyone before has done. This is the only way to resolve the divisions of history.
Jesus was particularly remarkable in this regard. He realized it would do no good for the two sides to fight. The best thing he could do for the sake of God and for the sake of the people of Israel was to die for God and for his people. This was Jesus’ reasoning behind his decision to go the way of the cross.
Jesus' love for humanity was greater than anyone else's since the beginning of history, and his love for God was greater than that of anyone else in history. Because of this, his death caused a history destined for destruction to take a new direction toward a world of purpose. That direction resulted in the Christian cultural sphere of today. Ladies and gentlemen, if a woman who lacks formal education marries a man with a doctoral degree, she suddenly becomes the wife of a scholar. Isn't that true? This is what I mean when I say that anyone who possesses the breadth of relationships of heart and the desire to live with others in harmony has the right to participate in the realm of unification. God Himself is such a being. So, if the quality of a person's life enables him or her to harmonize with others, this person automatically has the right to participate in their lives. The last days … is the time when the Second Advent will occur. Accordingly, in the last days, there will be no external catastrophic phenomena such as judgment by fire, the destruction of the earth or people levitating into the air. Instead, it is a time when the history of evil entangled with countless tragedies will be untangled. Book 3, Part 1, Chapter 21
First, it is "to live for the sake of others.” More specifically, Reverend Moon’s teaching is that the individual lives for the family, the family for the society, the society for a people, the people for the nation, the nation for the world and the world for God. Then, God will come to us. In the family, parents are to live for children and children for parents, husband for wife and wife for husband. Anyone who lives for others more than his or her own self will become a central person on the side of goodness.
All people should go beyond racial and religious differences, understand God's providence to bring His ideal world of creation into reality, and ultimately, unite with God's heart. It is heart that will bring faith, hope and love—which humanity has been pursuing—to their ultimate conclusions. We must recover the relationship of heart with God that we lost as a result of the human Fall and recover the positions of parent and child as God originally envisioned them to be. Women are the center of the love, peace and spirit of service that protects our families, and it is the healthy family that is the starting point in our work to build world peace. The establishment of God-centered family ethics and the education of our children lie at the innermost core of my teachings. The family is the holy sanctuary that cleanses this defiled world. God has not been able to work directly in the spirit world. Instead, God motivated angels, saints and good ancestors to perform His work. If He could have worked directly, the Fall would never have happened. True Parents are the ones who are building the bridge that allows God to be able to work directly. True Parents came to earth and are solving completely the reality of false parents. God comes down to earth on the foundation of this purification from the individual level to the cosmic level, and He is carrying out His work centering on that completed foundation. Cheonju (天宙), cosmos, means "Heaven's house.” It means the house of two people. Pyeonghwa (peace) means pyeong (平), equal or flat, whether you are in heaven or on earth. This means peace must be flat. If it is at just a little bit of an angle, you will run into it. If it is not parallel, you will run into it and the tradition of peace that has survived for ten years or even 100 years will be cut off and finished. We must not let this happen. We need to be two people who are at peace. Mind and body are also like two people. A husband and wife are two people. Two parents, two children; two people, two more people; then four people have to become parallel, and they will be a heavenly family, a parallel family with parents at the center. You must become this kind of family. Do not be a family that runs into each other. You cannot fight. Two must become one. (364-114, 2002.01.01). Book 4, Part 6, Chapter 2.
As True Parents, on October 3, 2001, which was 13 years after the Foundation Day for the Nation of the Unified World, we examined our lives, and things were on track. The year 2001 launched us toward the year 3000. If we calculate 3,000 years each for a man and a woman, that makes 6,000. I must complete in just 13 years the responsibility that all men and women ought to have accomplished throughout the 6,000 biblical years of history. Within 13 years, I have to complete everything that Adam was unable to fulfill. I have to seek out the lineage that Satan stole from God.

There are many problems arising in the world. We have reached the limit of what human power alone can do about them. Yesterday, as I was approaching Japan in an airplane, I saw Tokyo's beautiful sky. As I remember, Tokyo was known as a heavily polluted city in the 1970s. However, today Tokyo is known as one of the most pollution-free cities in the world. This was possible thanks to you. When we observe the problems of the world today caused by human ignorance, such as pollution, we are speechless.
So, what do we have to do? All of humanity should unite, but we need a focal point for unity. In today's world, although there are countries that do well, if the countries that surround them do not do well, they will all be harmed. When will we be able to actualize a free and peaceful world? There is only one answer to this. Human beings are not the center. God is the center, the true owner of the universe.
